Protecting people

We take the safety of children and vulnerable adults seriously. The app is for users aged 16+, and certain treatments are strictly 18+ with age verification.

Members aged 16 and 17 cannot use the social side of Arctic and do not appear in social search, suggestions or mentions. Conversations involving anyone under 18 allow text messages and voice notes only, with photos, videos, GIFs, files and calls turned off in both directions, and an adult is limited in how many messages they can send before receiving a reply. A portfolio belonging to someone under 18 never shows their current workplace to the general membership.

Concerns

If you have a safeguarding concern, contact hello@arcticstudios.uk, and in an emergency contact the police (999). We cooperate with safeguarding authorities and may report concerns as required by law.

Businesses and practitioners must act professionally, maintain appropriate boundaries, and hold the required checks/insurance for their services.
